The hospital has a purpose built theatre and padded recovery room that allows us to safely anaesthetise and recover your horse.
All current surgical procedures are performed at Oakey Veterinary Hospital, and these include (and are not limited to) keyhole surgery, (arthroscopy and laparoscopy), fracture repair, upper respiratory tract surgery, gastrointestinal (colic) surgery; urogenital surgery, ophthalmic surgery and laser surgery – just to name a few.
Our surgeons are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to accept emergencies, providing peace of mind to clients and referring veterinarians alike.
