Our staff are highly experienced with exposure to some of the world's best medicine facilities to provide your foal with expert medical treatment.
Many sick neonatal foals require a high level of veterinary and nursing care to maximise the possibility of a positive outcome. OVH is equipped with 3 dedicated mare and foal boxes to allow extensive 24hr monitoring, support and treatment of sick foals without preventing important mare and foal contact.
Very ill neonatal foals often have multiple problems and the required intensive care costs can be high. In these cases, the first 24hours of care is critical in thoroughly evaluating the foal to reach a realistic prognosis and cost estimate to assist in making the right decision for each individual case.
