Radiography and Ultrasound
Oakey Vet Hospital uses the latest technology in portable digital radiography, that allows for greater flexibility, convenience and superior quality of images taken.
Soft tissue imaging can be taken using an ultrasound machine, allowing for accurate diagnosis in tendon and ligament injuries as well as many other joint/bone pathologies. Ultrasound is also used to determine whether injuries have repaired sufficiently for the horse to return to work.
