Laboratory Services
The Oakey Veterinary Hospital houses our own on-site laboratory allowing a large range of in-house testing to be performed 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Laboratory services include haematology, biochemistry, electrolytes and cytology, allowing rapid analysis of the blood profiles of critically ill horses and foals. Pre anaesthetic bloods, racing profiles and microbiological testing are also available.
External specialist laboratories compliment this service.
